1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Cat Translator mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cognify Research Teknoloji Yazılım ve Danışmanlık Ticaret Anonim Şirketi ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

Cat Translator is an entertainment and companion application for cat owners that provides:

• An AI-powered translator that interprets recordings of your cat's vocalizations into playful, human-readable messages
• A reverse mode that turns your typed messages into cat-style responses and sounds
• A soundboard of real cat sounds across multiple categories to play for your cat
• Short, structured cat care courses covering everyday topics such as feeding, grooming, and behavior
• An AI Studio that generates phone wallpapers from photos of your cat (and optionally you) in a variety of artistic themes

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. If you are under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. No Account Required

The App does not require account registration. Your content, including chat history, course progress, and generated wallpapers, is stored locally on your device. If you delete the App, this locally stored content may be permanently lost.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Cat Translator offers subscription-based access to premium features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate
• You can manage and cancel your subscription through your App Store account settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

6. Entertainment Disclaimer

Important: Cat Translator is designed for entertainment purposes only. AI-generated translations of your cat's sounds are playful interpretations and do not represent actual animal communication, scientific analysis, or veterinary assessment.

The cat care content provided in the App is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Every cat is different. Always consult a licensed veterinarian regarding your cat's health, diet, behavior, or any medical concerns. Do not disregard professional veterinary advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by this App.

If your cat shows signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior, contact a veterinarian promptly.

7. AI Features Disclaimer

The App includes AI-powered features, including sound translation, chat responses, and wallpaper generation. These features generate content using artificial intelligence and, while designed to be delightful and helpful, may occasionally produce unexpected, incomplete, or imprecise results. AI-generated content is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. Generated images may not perfectly resemble the photos you provide.

8. User Content and Conduct

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the App, including audio recordings, text, and photos. You represent that you have the right to submit any photos or recordings you provide, including the consent of any identifiable person appearing in them. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Submit content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality, or attempt to bypass usage limits
• Use the App to generate or distribute inappropriate content

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to course content, sound recordings, illustrations, design elements, text, graphics, and software, are owned by or licensed to the Company and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent. Wallpapers generated from your own photos are yours to use for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claims arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue to apply.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.

2. Information We Collect

Cat Translator does not require account registration, and we aim to keep data collection to the minimum needed to provide the App's features.

Audio Recordings

When you use the translator, the App records your cat's sounds with your permission and sends the recording to our AI service provider to generate a translation. Recordings are processed to produce the result and are not used to identify you.

Photos

When you use the Studio feature, photos you select (such as a photo of your cat, and optionally yourself) are sent to our AI service provider to generate a wallpaper. Photos are processed to produce the result and are not used to identify you.

Text Input

Messages you type in the chat are processed by our AI service provider to generate responses.

Locally Stored Data

Your chat history, course progress, free credit and quota status, and generated wallpapers are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

Device and Technical Data

We automatically collect certain technical information, including device type, operating system version, app version, language settings, and general usage analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Generate cat sound translations and chat responses from your recordings and messages
• Generate wallpapers from the photos you provide
• Process your subscription and manage premium access
• Enforce fair usage limits on AI features
• Improve and develop the App's features and content
• Ensure the security and integrity of the App

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with the following categories of service providers who assist us in operating the App:

• Payment Processing: RevenueCat (subscription management) and Apple (App Store payments)
• Cloud Infrastructure: Google Firebase (app integrity, configuration, and performance)
• AI Services: Google (Gemini models) for powering sound translation, chat, and wallpaper generation; your audio, text, and photo input is processed to generate results
• Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics to improve the App experience

All third-party service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

5. Children's Privacy

Cat Translator is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

6. Data Retention and Security

Audio recordings, photos, and messages are processed to generate results and are not retained by us beyond what is needed to provide the service. Content stored locally on your device remains under your control and is removed when you delete the App.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), app integrity checks, and regular security assessments.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

Subscription Policy

Available Plans

Cat Translator offers the following subscription plans for access to premium features:

• Weekly Plan: Access to all premium features, billed weekly
• Yearly Plan: Access to all premium features, billed annually at a discounted rate

From time to time we may also present special discounted offers within the App. Current pricing is displayed within the App at the time of purchase. All prices include applicable taxes.

Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged for the renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same subscription rate.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time by following these steps:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
• Tap your Apple ID at the top
• Tap Subscriptions
• Select Cat Translator
• Tap Cancel Subscription

After cancellation, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly indicated at the time of signup. Any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You may only use one free trial per Apple ID.

Billing

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not directly collect or store your payment information. For billing inquiries or refunds related to App Store charges, please contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
